• Welcome

Welcome to the legendary Dark Warriors of Club Penguin Online

On the original Club Penguin, we were ranked as the strongest army in history. We were created in October 2007 by Ambrosha, and we lived until 2015. We had many wars with legendary armies – and now in 2019 we have made a return to Club Penguin Online

The Dark Warriors do not necessarily seek to do what is right. We seek to grow our army and become the biggest, providing a fun environment for all our troops.

    We burn the light!

DWNC: Posting Guidelines

DWNC Headquarters, Fog-

Hello everyone! This is your DWNC Chief of Staff, Simi, here with an important bulletin for all DWNC staff members. It’s been seen that the Dark Warriors News Central is the most effective way of keeping our troops informed about what is going on in our army and on Club Penguin. However, there is a critical flaw in this and that is the formatting and structure in which we do posts. We need our readers to be able to understand our posts and where exactly we posted from or where an event had occurred. Please read on for more information if you are DWNC staff.

First, to make it much easier to distinguish the regular posts from our DWNC posts on the main area of the site you are required to add our official seal.We could all see it as a trademark logo that shows we are a professional, organized, and significant source of news as that is what we are. Not only that but it makes it clear that it is an officially approved post published through the staff here.

Secondly, all DWNC staff are required to make a location line for posts so troops know exactly where something occurred and then position it one space higher than the rest of the post. The reasoning for this is that if we constantly provide inaccurate details about an invasion for example then the reliability of our organization is drawn out to be questionable. We cannot afford that as a journalistic group dedicated to our troops who want to know every detail of an event or all the cheats for the parties. Not only that but it further contributes to the concepts of organization, doing the proper research, and maintaining a professional appearance at all times.

Next, when writing posts you must have each part of the report in a paragraph to make things easily readable and understandable. I don’t think anybody wants to read one huge pile of words and having to dissect it to find the answers to whatever they want to know about where they can find the next pin or how many soldiers we had on at the invasion of Mammoth for example. Not only that but it teaches you how to do proper writing for your schooling in real life because it’s not acceptable there either. Essentially we need our readers to be able to understand and digest whatever they just read without feeling they got an entire cake stuffed down their throat and they can’t possibly fit it all in their mouth.

Additionally, a lot of posts may require interviews such as trying to find out about how the troops feel about a new leader after their election to president of the Dark Warriors. We need to keep a sense of professionalism in that as well so we can make it clear what was said and getting the opinions out there. One critical detail about the interviewing format is that you must NEVER change the words of what a person says as that is dishonest and doesn’t make any clear point. It could cause a misunderstanding and it may also stir up a fight. Answers must be written word for word. Here is an example of the actual format style and note that this isn’t a real interview. It is a pure example:

DWNC: Hello President Toysoldier, I was wondering when exactly do you plan to retire from your office.

Toysoldier: I will retire from the office of the president whenever the Dark Warriors are ready and able to stand on it’s own two feet with an actually good leader.

DWNC: That is outstanding! Do you have any particular candidates in mind for who will replace you at that point.

Toysoldier: Well, that depends on whether Magicnoodles or Haroonniaz choose to stay in this army. They are both good leaders and I think they’d all do a good job.

DWNC: That’s a wrap!

Finally, it is critical that you utilize transitions in your writing because it makes it very clear to our readers that you’re moving on to a new point/subject in the report. Transitions also let your words flow freely without seeming so messy but they don’t need to be used constantly for certain posts such as ones about all the cheats for The Fair. They’d be more commonly used to explain the events that went on during the course of an invasion into an enemy server, how many troops were on for both sides, and the ending result of who won and who lost. After all this is completed you must also add your signature  and your DWNC position (in italics) down two spaces from your report to denote that you wrote the post. This reduces the odds of someone copying you and makes it clear that you are a proud DWNC staffmember.

These posting guidelines are official and I do expect you to all folllow them in your next few posts because we are the Dark Warriors and the primary news source and it is time that we pick up that appearance and maintain it at all times.
