• Welcome

Welcome to the legendary Dark Warriors of Club Penguin Online

On the original Club Penguin, we were ranked as the strongest army in history. We were created in October 2007 by Ambrosha, and we lived until 2015. We had many wars with legendary armies – and now in 2019 we have made a return!

The Dark Warriors do not necessarily seek to do what is right. We seek to grow our army and become the biggest, providing a fun environment for all our troops.

You can also find us as the “Dark Pirates” on CPR!

    We burn the light!

Throwback Thursday: Meeting The Legends, Spi101

Hello Warriors!

Today we will be introducing a new segment: Throwback Thursdays.
This is where we’re going to get to know about some of the old faces of DW through some entertaining interviews. You’ll hear from legends, troops, old staff members, and huge influencers on DW’s history.

We will start off this section interviewing DW Legend, Spi. He currently owns the discord server and a lot of people from this new generation have seen him around, but what’s his history within the army?

────────────────────────────

Interviewer: When did you join the Dark Warriors?

Spi101: I officially joined Dark Warriors the first time in December 2012 under the leadership of xiunknown and SaW. At this time, the Dark Warriors were reopening after going through multiple short-lived generations. In their leadership, DW became a stable CP army and I was given 3ic, ranking up to 2ic in my time there as one of the best HCOM. This era is what solidified DW as a whole and is most likely recognized as the official “creation” for DW.

Interviewer: What was it like to lead the army?

Spi101: In my terms leading DW, It would always be a different experience for not just me but for everyone. My leadership style is different than most CP army leaders. Most of my time spent in DW were pretty much declaring war on the armies that I either despised or for boredom. DW wrecked multiple armies, the most notable one is definitely Doritos. I remember leading with Freezie, Drake, Puf, Xxtoysoldier and more.

Interviewer: Who was your favourite person to lead with?

Spi101: Without a doubt, Freezie66. Him and I were always on the same page and our leadership styles meshed in for different purposes. He knows how to recruit and motivate the army constantly, while aggression in wars, practice battles and tourneys was my style. When him and I first led together with Puf and Crazy, the attitude of DW was very different than it is today. DW were always about destroying other armies and staying on top with a way different atmosphere than armies like RPF. We had no structured rules, our atmosphere was always relaxed, the name of the game was just Aggression.

Interviewer: How did you feel when you were rewarded with the Legend title?

Spi101: It was great for me knowing I was a kid at the time but I was mostly concerned on what I wanted to do with DW instead of wanting higher statuses in the army. I was grateful for becoming a DW Legend thanks to the environment I put for DW because my values for a CP army are – 100% certain – so much different than a conventional Club Penguin army you’ll find today. What I was remembered for, armies like DCP deserved to be put in their place with DW on the very top. We were respected as a whole and anyone who considered going against us always had to think twice.

Interviewer: How was it reopening DW?

Spi101: Reopening DW with Freezie felt like the time when SaW and xiunknown reopened DW in 2012. The same mimic, the same feeling with the same objective – for DW to be stable while sending them off with a great generation. We had many new faces with old ones, The Warriors Alliance was successfully revived and the best of them all, DCP was trainwrecked in 5 days which is a groundbreaking record for DW as a whole. From here on out, DW are living on as it did before.

Interviewer: Favourite thing about the new generation?

Spi101: E-girls. No but really, the fact that there are SO MANY new faces. One common problem we had back in the old days of DW is that we would always have the same people or HCOM. Nowadays, there is always someone new.

Interviewer: What do you miss about the old generation?

Spi101: The old generation from where I came from had very traditional values. Most of you have asked what was DW like back then so I’m going to be brutally honest with no sugarcoating involved – DW was a very toxic CP army. DW was not a very family-friendly Club Penguin army as you see it is today. We had almost no rules, you could cuss freely as much as you want, we had arguments and fights every week in our chat. It sounds awful, but what I miss about our old ways were the aggression that we had as an 18+ environment (for the most part.) You see, while we would have problems of our own, DW stayed as a family and if anyone didn’t like us, we made it loud and clear to make them feel bad.

Interviewer: Would you lead again?

Spi101: No. I love Dark Warriors, always have today – but I don’t care about Club Penguin Armies. I’m only around for the people and if I do ever lead, the only purpose for it will be to destroy a Club Penguin army and I will retire yet again. I have moved on to bigger things, way bigger things that exceed CP armies.

Interviewer: Who is your favourite legend?

Spi101: Me myself and I. What did you expect?

────────────────────────────

As you can see, Spi101 is a very humble person from our DW Hall of Fame. Jokes aside, you can tell he was such a pivotal part in DW being the powerhouse we all know it to be. Even though he has no interest in coming back to armies, it’s good to have old figures like him around.
