• Welcome

Welcome to the legendary Dark Warriors of Club Penguin Online

On the original Club Penguin, we were ranked as the strongest army in history. We were created in October 2007 by Ambrosha, and we lived until 2015. We had many wars with legendary armies – and now in 2019 we have made a return to Club Penguin Online

The Dark Warriors do not necessarily seek to do what is right. We seek to grow our army and become the biggest, providing a fun environment for all our troops.

    We burn the light!

DWNC: Tricky Formations [EVENT GUIDE pt. 3]

Tricky Formations

DW Battle HQ | It’s time for the last of the Event Guide, which is about Tricky Formations! I hope the last 2 guides were helpful to everyone and if you want to read them, click on the links below!

Types of Formations

To be honest, there are infinite amounts of formations. Think of any shape or picture, and there you have it: A formation! But, there are some formations that DW leaders use more than others, which are the ones I’ll be focusing on in this guide.

This is the most basic of formations. Basically you circle the room. Make sure that you make the circle wide and move backwards as much as possible. That way, you look bigger, and you can fit more penguins in the circle. Most of the time AFK people are still in the center, so try to pay attention at all times and get in line.

Plus (+)

^^^^DO NOT DO THIS (it is a swastika)^^^^

This is also a very basic formation. You get in a plus sign. Since DW usually has large sizes, we sometimes make a swastika (which you may know as the Nazi symbol). Here’s a tip: Don’t make a swastika! Don’t make L’s at the end. Just try to find a spot, because there will almost always be gaps in the formation.

X Formation

This is the last basic formation. As you can see, we make an X. If there are extra people, it is ok to go off to the side as seen in the bottom left hand corner of the picture.

DWNC: Interview With Mike, DW 2ic

Frosty, DW Chat Pool | After some discussions on chat today about being good mods and troops, I decided to ask one of our owners, Mike (DW 2ic), what he thought should be done to improve the Dark Warriors.

Me: Bold // Mike: Regular

Do you think we need to improve DW in terms of our battles and training sessions? If so, how should we improve?

I do believe there is always room for improvement and I stand by that now. As for how, I believe we should bring up training regiments back for mods. With our mods acting as more effective leaders, our events will improve as a result.

Some troops on chat stray off topic or are not focusing during events. Do you think something should be done to change that, and if so, what should be done?

I think that simply reminding troops to stay on topic while hyping for events would help. Everyone usually just says “get ready for event” without saying how. Reminding troops to stay on task would be a good start. I also think more frequent tactics and more discipline during events would be a major game changer.

How many hours/minutes would you suggest a mod/owner to recruit everyday?

Minutes is out of the question. I think a good minimum amount of time to set would be 3 hours for newer mods. 5 hours for mods who have been with us for a while. At least 7-8 hours a day for us owners. Obviously those who have access to computers should recruit 24/7 regardless of experience.

Many new recruits are entering DW due to mass recruiting efforts. Do you think an active count would be a good idea to update ranks and to see who deserves a promotion (or demotion)?

I think that with our recent reset of ranks an active count isn’t really necessary. It’s sad to say only 1 out of 10 recruits ever really stay past making their join application, so active counts would have to be done everyday  to really be effective.  Also, I approve of Toy’s recent promotion/demotion methods in one of his posts. That’s my stance on promotions and ranks basically.

Thanks for your time. Any last comments you want to tell the Dark Warriors?

Make me proud DW. (salute emote)

Well, that’s all folks! Make sure you think about what Mike said, and we’ll be back as the #1 army!
