How to Play Ice Fishing

Before you go after the stamps, there are a few things worth knowing. A little prep goes a long way when you’re trying to land a giant Mullet!

• Worms are your lives: The worms in the can are what keep you fishing, so losing a life means losing a worm.
• Avoid the junk: Steer clear of barrels, boots and other pieces of trash. If your fish hits an obstacle, it will swim away.
• Gray fish need an upgrade: To catch gray fish, you’ll need the Deluxe Fishing Rod from the Game Upgrades catalogue.
• Catching the Mullet: You must already have a fish on your line. Lure that fish towards the Mullet’s mouth and it will grab it, letting you reel in the giant fish.

Club Penguin Journey Ice Fishing Stamp Walkthrough

There are 10 stamps to earn in Ice Fishing: 1 easy stamp, 2 medium stamps, 6 hard stamps and 1 extreme stamp. Here’s a quick look at all of them, then we’ll go through each one by difficulty.

Easy Stamps

Let’s start with a quick win!

Snack Attack Stamp

This one is all about being a generous host. Get a fish on your fishing line and let a shark eat it, and the Snack Attack stamp is yours!

Medium Stamps

These two ask for a bit more control, so take your time with them.

Shock King Stamp

For the Shock King stamp, your fishing line needs to be shocked by jellyfish 3 times while you still successfully complete the game. Be careful, because being shocked more than 3 times means you won’t earn the stamp.

Fishtastic Stamp

To earn the Fishtastic stamp, you must catch 15 fish in a row without making a mistake. A mistake is letting your fish hit an obstacle or losing a worm, so keep your line steady and your eyes on the trash!

Hard Stamps

Now we’re getting into the serious fishing. There are six of these, so settle in!

Worm Win Stamp

For the Worm Win stamp, you must complete an entire game of Ice Fishing without losing a single worm. It doesn’t matter how many fish you catch, as long as you reach the end of the game without losing a life.

Crab Cuts Stamp

To earn the Crab Cuts stamp, your fishing line must be cut by crabs 3 times while you still successfully complete the game. If your line is cut more than 3 times, you won’t earn the stamp.

Afishionado Stamp

The Afishionado stamp is a big step up from Fishtastic. You need to catch 45 fish in a row without making any mistakes, which means your fish can’t hit obstacles and you can’t lose a worm.

Gray Goodies Stamp

To earn the Gray Goodies stamp, you must catch 15 gray fish during a single game of Ice Fishing. They don’t need to be caught back to back, but all 15 have to be caught in the same game. Remember, you’ll need the Deluxe Fishing Rod to catch gray fish.

Fly Fisher Stamp

For the Fly Fisher stamp, you need to catch 63 fish within the 5-minute game. A handy strategy is to ignore the Mullet, because 3 fish appear once you’ve caught 60 fish. We’d also recommend using the regular fishing rod, since gray fish move faster and can make it harder to reach 63 before time runs out.

Prize Mullet Stamp

To earn the Prize Mullet stamp, you need to catch the iconic Mullet. First, catch 60 fish to reach the final stage of the game. When the final 3 fish appear, catch one of them and use it to lure the Mullet towards your fishing line. The Mullet can’t be caught with a single worm by itself, so you’ll need that fish on your line.

Extreme Stamps

Last but not least, it’s the big one!

Ace Angler Stamp

The Ace Angler stamp is the ultimate Ice Fishing challenge. You must complete three objectives in the same game: catch 15 gray fish, catch the Mullet, and finish the entire game without losing a single worm. In other words, it combines Gray Goodies, Prize Mullet and Worm Win into one run, so it makes sense to save it for last!
