Over the past 24 hours and the past week, Dark Warriors have seen many changes and a lot of actions being taken. However, now it is time to discuss some of these.
Recently, Dark Warriors declared war on the Templars, going into battle against a formidable opponent who has a great history within the CPPS era. Many questioned our decision to wage war on Templars and aid Void Troops. However, when we go into something, we do not go into it half-assed. Therefore, we gave the war everything we had. Originally, we chose not to get involved when Void Troops reached out for help. Given our past with the army and our former enemy status, getting involved wasn’t at the top of our bucket list. However, Antman, DW and VT Advisor reached out, once again, asking for help and hoping our two armies could build a relationship – to become more friendly despite the past.
In the past, DW and its leadership had a problem with VT’s Leadership and this problem was very much mutual with the two armies becoming enemies. Justin had led Void Troops before joining DW; however, he defaced the army for their actions, mainly Logical‘s. Justin stated that he could not stand by while Logical defended someone who threatened to r*p* another person. Thus, the rocky situation between VT and DW was certain to be a problem when he joined Leadership. Before all this happened, VT and DW were on good terms – not allies, not enemies and of course, with their former Leader being in our advisory and having a past with DW, the armies were always going to start on good terms.
Despite this and despite VT declaring war on DW in the past, following the retirement of Logical, Ant and VT wanted to fix things between the armies. However, many felt like there was too much water under the bridge and given the past situation, it did not feel right. Thus, advances towards an alliance were rejected. Yet, some started to reach out and connectin with others. There was no hostility, but alliances were not being formed. So when VT approached DW to help them in a war we declined. Yet, after another appeal from VT, DW made the jump into the war.
While Justin has had issues with Templars in the past, this war was not personal for the rest of DW. I won’t speak on their behalf. This war tested the waters not only with the war but with relations. Regardless of issues or situations, regardless of how the war is looked upon then or now, it tested DW and allowed us to train and prepare for the upcoming Christmas Chaos. It gave the army invaluable experience.
Despite our invasions of Templars, they were fully focused on Void Troops. While we successfully invaded land, these wins were meaningless without a true battle taking place. Underneath this war lies respect. Even though DW declared war upon TCP, they have only been courteous towards us, understanding that nothing is personal between us, and we truly appreciate that.
After our invasion of Puddle, a lot changed within the army. Yet, one thing remained clear: this war was over long before it started. I don’t mean it was over because we were winning, but rather the actions taken by the army did not reflect the thoughts and feelings of those within it. Whether it be concerns about helping in the war or just warring TCP, there were concerns. Despite entering the war, behind the scenes, not all was well. The war was disliked by many from the start, as Logical was found out to be heavily involved. After a campaign was led against VT and Logical in the past, it made no sense to aid in a war that Logical was seemingly spearheading, not to mention against an army no-one else had a problem with.
This brings us to our decision to leave the war. With circumstances building up, we had to think about the best thing for our future. Ultimately, DW’s leadership chose to act upon its thoughts and beliefs and end all hostilities, all ties, and start to do what’s best for the army. Having been witness to the unfolding situation, Justin decided to leave the leadership without informing any of the DW Commanders. Rumours have begun circulating that Justin was couped. However, this is not the case and, if it was, we would certainly not be stupid enough to allow someone who was couped to keep their roles, which they left the server with.
So if anyone wants to add to this narrative, they can, but for those of you who have read this post, you know the truth of the matter.
Thus, with everything said, DW’s Supreme Command officially declares TCP as a neutral state, and we have withdrawn from the war with them as of November 24th at 23:57 GMT after an agreement between myself, Coolguy and Zez.
We would like to send our apologies to Templars and to those within DW who have been affected by this war. However, we now look for a brighter future and are actually excited to continue on the right foot 🙂 This is just the beginning of our new era, a defining era. So join us for the ride and you never know what you may gain from the experience.
Additionally, Justin is no longer a leader of the Dark Warriors as of November 24th 2025, bringing his reign in command to an end.
