Well. That was certainly some declaration of war.

Soooo the Templars have apparently decided that the Dark Warriors are responsible for everything wrong with CPA, from stagnation to the declining number of major wars, and have somehow managed to fit all of this into a declaration that also accuses us of “knifing them in the back.” It’s a very impressive amount of responsibility to place on one army, especially considering in your eyes, we’ve apparently became the central villain of the community without realizing it.

What’s even more interesting is that we’ve spent months and months and months listening to you yap about how CPA itself is the problem. We remember when the Templars tried convincing DW and Aliens to join them in raiding the LC battle between WV and RPF as a way of boycotting CPA. We declined, because when WV and RPF were already sitting at a combined 144 in a room capped at 150, deliberately crashing the battle wasn’t exactly going to do much besides make the three of us look ridiculous.

And that’s really the funny part. You’re now accusing everyone else of contributing to CPA’s stagnation, while your proposed solution at the time was essentially “let’s go ruin one of the biggest battles happening.” We weren’t interested in that, and apparently that makes us part of the problem.

We’re not going to waste time responding to every dramatic statement in your declaration, because quite frankly, some of them speak for themselves, and we’d rather prove you wrong where it actually matters: on the battlefield. What we are interested in is pointing out a few of the more creative claims you’ve made about DW.

The Templars say that Dark Warriors “deserve to have their flippers handed to them” for being “mostly useless allies who leech from others to maintain their ‘major army’ status.” Well, since we’re apparently handing out flippers today, let’s hand a pair right back. It’s rather interesting to hear the Templars accuse anyone else of relying on others to maintain their major army status when their multilogging investigation found them artificially inflating their event sizes for months.

So if the accusation is that DW “leeches” to maintain our status, what exactly are we supposed to call the creation of additional accounts to inflate your numbers after repeatedly taking losses in wars? Deus Mult!

We ain’t even going to pretend the hypocrisy is subtle here.

“wE CAn OnLy vERifY 12?” You want to use a screenshot of one of our young staff members mentioning our max? Sure, but hey:

15 > 12.

Oh, and also, let’s try not to break War Term Number 8 shall we? I know it’s going to be realllllyyy hard for you.
“8. Multilogging, hacking, ddosing, doxxing, botting, or any other means of cheating will not be allowed in this war.”

And somehow, while the Templars were busy telling everyone that Dark Warriors needs to “leech from others” to maintain our major army status, we’ve been doing just fine on our own in recent days. In fact, we’ve been maxing 25+ consistently over the past couple of days. So, thank you for the concern, but it seems we are doing just fine. And how are you looking?

Of course, we know what you’re going to say: “VT refugees.”

You guys really seem to love that term. #VTPACK or whatever.

So let’s play along for a second. If these supposed “VT refugees” are the only reason we’re able to maintain our numbers, then surely the Templars must be completely unaffected by outside armies themselves, right?

But honestly, we have to thank you for helping us with the publicity. You guys have been absolutely loving our memes lately, and apparently we’re not the only ones who’ve noticed how entertaining this whole situation has become. Even some of your other so-called allies seem to be enjoying them.

We’ve never seen an army so consistently capable of providing its own meme material.

So naturally, we couldn’t let the opportunity go to waste.
